What to Know Before Your Juice Cleanse

Prior to beginning your juice cleanse, it is important to get yourself into a positive mindset. Think about your “why” and embrace the juice cleanse as a way to cherish your body and your health.

Don’t Skimp on Your Diet
Before you begin your cleanse, start by cutting processed foods out of your diet about a week or so before. Place a focus on healthy fats, easy to digest proteins, veggies, fruits, as well as nuts, and seeds for a balanced diet. You will also want to increase your water intake and try to cut out alcohol a few days prior to the cleanse. Keep your meals simple and easy to digest to help ease your body into the cleanse and take the stress off of your liver and kidneys.

You also want to make sure you stay hydrated. Try to go for lighter options when it comes to food rather than richer food options.
